The route
How interior design-and-build works
Design-and-build combines the design and implementation responsibilities that are often split between separate appointments. The intention is not to skip design; it is to keep design decisions, costing, procurement and construction connected as the project develops.
Curzey establishes the brief and project controls first, develops the interior design and technical package, tests commercial implications, coordinates procurement and then manages the fit-out through completion and handover.
- Project brief, surveys and site due diligence
- Concept and detailed interior design
- Cost planning, quotations and scope definition
- Approvals, procurement and long-lead coordination
